In appraisal meeting they will speak only about your weakness, errors and failures.
In resignation meeting they will speak only about your strengths, past achievements and success .
In appraisal you may need to cry and beg for even 10% hike.
In resignation you can easily demand (or get even without asking) more than 50-60% hike.
During appraisal, they will deny promotion saying you didn't meet the expectation, you don't have leadership qualities, and you had several drawbacks in our objective/goal.

TAF and India's Concern
Today Morning LTTE's demonstrated their capability by attacking an Srilankan Airbase using Airplanes. As per the LTTE, the TAF(TamilEelam Air Force) attacked Srilankan Airbase and returned safely. Thus becoming the first terrorist organisation in the world to successfully carry out air operation with out any external source.
Immediately after this incident, Indian govt raised it concerns about LTTE's raising power. When 61 school children's(Tamil origin) were massacred by SL Air force the Indian govt didn't respond immediately, When 100's of Tamil(Indian) fishermen are killed the Indian govt kept quite, but now immediately our govt is raising its concern.
If the fishermen from kerala are killed by the SL Navy will Indian govt be quite?. This shows how the Govt of India works. If the center follows the same policy towards TN then, govt will face one more headache

Last weekend i watched this movie, The Pursuit of Happyness.

Will smith plays the role of a sales representative who is not able to make money from his job. Attracted by a stock broker, he too wants to become a stock broker. He quits his job and join an unpaid internship . He faces several obstacles and at last he becomes a stock broker.
I'm a great fan of Will smith after seeing the movie "ALI" and "HITCH". Once again will smith proved that he is a great actor. The story seems to be simple but it has some thing in it which bonds the audience to the seat.
My comments : Must watch movie for every one

Bachelors life log #1
In the year 2000 i came to chennai to do my engineering studies. Almost 7 years have gone(completed my BE degree in 2004), iam living away form my parents. Missing gr8 things in the life, but still enjoying many things.
In the past 7 years the major problem that i(we, including my room mates) faced is searching house. Most of the house owners are not ready to lend their house to bachelors. Even if they lend, we will have to pay more when compared to the rest of the tenants.
I have to travel almost 1.5 hours daily to reach my workplace, so i decided to shift my house some where near to my office. Through a middle man we searched for a house. We already informed him that we are bachelors.Last sunday the middle man called us informed about a house. Since my friend was not available , i alone went and visited the house, when i talked to the landlord, i agreed for a rent of 2500 and 10 months rent as advance. When he asked how many members in my family i said 6. The land lord said 6 persons cannot stay in that house since its a one bedroom house.
Then only i came to know that the middle man haven't said to the landlord we are bachelors.
Once again the house owner enquired how many of us are going to stay and what are our occupation. I said me and my friend only will occupy and both are working for an IT company.
The land lord think for a moment and he agreed for us but with one condition. The house rent is '3500' and the advance is 35000.

CPI pls get out of India
Till some timeback, i support communist party of india. I thought Indian comrades are different form the rest of partners across the world. But my predication was wrong. They are too like the rest.
According to the westbengal govt 11 persons were dead during Nandigram protest. Press claims that 22 (Mamta says that 100). WB govt used police force against the protesters. Are the protesters are anti social elements or terrorist. They are just farmers. The govts action is something similar to Killing in Tiananman square.
The WB govt is acquiring farmlands for the proposed SEZ and when the owners of the land opposes it,the govt kill them, vow what a policy. There is no big growth in WB in the last 30 years are so. Still the unemployment rate is high when compared to rest of the country.
Yesterday the CPI clashed with DMK regarding the martime university issue. They said that the center did not discuss this issue with them before announcing it in parliment.
But the CPI didnot discuss the proposed SEZ with their state people before announce it.
I think this is the right time to kick the comrades(all sorts of communist) out of the country.

Then i used the same keyword in Google. The Google search returned some results for this keyword.To my surprise 2 results in top 10 results are form IBM Lotus discussion forum.

Facts about IITJEE
The sums spent by IIT aspirants for coaching factories is about Rs 2000 crore per year, which is four times the annual budgetary allocation of the government to IITs. About 1,60,000 take JEEs and 3,500 are admitted to seven IITs.
During a recent year under review 979 candidates from South Zone secured admission. Of them 769 were from AP, while TN accounted for 94 successful candidates, Karnataka 84, and Kerala, for not more than 32 candidates.

This means that except for AP all the other 3 south states education curriculum is not up to the standard.
