2 Movies

Last weekend I had the chance to watch 2 movies. Dasavatharam and Forbidden Kingdom.

Dasavatharam. I have no words to say about this movie. I'm not a big fan of Kamal, But I like his few movies, to name few, Salaingai Oli, Anbe Sivam, Kurudip Punal. And now Dasavathram is in that list. Off all the characters Nambi, the veera was mind blowing. Next best character is Kalifulla. Even though the makeup is not proper for this character, Kamal's body language and voice modulation is superb. Next the Japaneese karate expert and our villain Christan Fletcher.
During Alavandhan's climax fight, I felt both the Kamal had the same body language. But in Dasavatharam When Chris Fletcher fights with Govind and the Karate master, all the three had different styles and body language. We cant say that its just 3 Kamal were fighting. Avatar sing remembered me Valve Mayam Kamal.
Aha, the other important role that I missed to tell is Vincent Povaragan. Speaking Nagarkovil/Tirunelveli Tamil with super body language. No one can easily figure out him in that makeup.

I feel the movie is tooooooooo long. Esp the chasing sequence in India.

Problem with Kamal Movies.
When Kamal writes the script, surely all the audience cannot understand it. At times he goes with some high fundas which a common man cannot understand. Some time the entire movie will be like that. Example Anbe Sivam and Mumbai Express. Both the movies failed in the box office. But I have to thank him for not making such a mistake in this movie. He starts with chaos theory and butterfly effect. If someone who couldn't understand the explanation what kamal provides for chaos theory , then they cannot feel he/she is fully satisfied with the movie.
Another example is "NaCl". From the starting they will show only NaCl can stop the virus. I can remember NaCl stands for Sodium Chloride, But only at the end of the movie, I remembered NaCl is the technical name for Common Salt. If they had just said it as common salt a common man can easily understand it.

Forbidden Kingdom:
2 Action Legends in one movie. Jacki Chan and Jet li. This movie is fully loaded with action.
A good entertainer. Simple story with good actions.
You can watch this movie if you have some free time.
